Enterprising Ashfield

Nottingham Trent University deliver the Enterprising Ashfield project to businesses, residents and employees within the Kirkby-in-Ashfield and Sutton-in-Ashfield Towns Fund area.

The project is delivered as part of Ashfield District Council’s successful Government Towns Fund bid and runs until March 2026.

The following support is available:

• Free Courses available for eligible individuals as well as providing bespoke programmes for local businesses to upskill employees. 
• Free Support for New Start-Ups including advice, coaching, workshops and £1,000 grant to get you started 
• Up to £2000 Growth Grant to help businesses that want to develop and grow, alongside business reviews and mentoring. 
• £2,500 Graduate Talent Grant plus free advice and support to help recruit to graduate positions in your business.  
• Free Expert Support & Funding to help you develop new and innovative products or processes within your organisation. 
• Free Apprenticeship Advice to understand and implement higher and degree apprenticeships.
