Reskill and Recover

Reskill and Recover is a fully-funded initiative, meaning it is offered without any cost to your organisation. This is possible thanks to funding from the European Social Fund and our delivery partners, which include the University of Derby, Nottingham Trent University, Derby College, Nottingham College, East Midlands Chamber of Commerce, Enable, and the Workers’ Educational Association.

The programme aims to help businesses return to growth and increase their productivity following the challenges of the past two years which has been designed around nine key areas of business.

All the units in the program are stand-alone and participants can choose the areas they’d like to focus on and will gain a Certificate of Completion for each unit completed. Taking part in the full program gives participants the opportunity to gain a level 4 accreditation from the University by completing a final unit. Those wishing to follow the accredited route must complete at least one module from each unit. Units will take place over two days.

This brand-new programme is available to employees in all eligible small and medium enterprises across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire (D2N2 region) from start-ups to those more established and looking to up-skill their workforce. Alternatively, you could be self-employed and registered as a sole trader within the D2N2 region.
