Do you thrive in helping businesses to grow and develop?  At East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire) we provide support and advice to businesses across the three counties from main offices in Chesterfield, Derby, Nottingham and Leicester along with a number of local delivery offices.

Contract: Permanent, full-time (35 hours per week)
Based at: Derby – Additional travel may be required
Salary: £19,000 to £21,000 per annum


This post is in place to help the organisation reach its business plan objectives and will provide an outstanding opportunity for the right individual.


To work with the Commercial Events Manager in the development, design and delivery of the Chamber’s Major Commercial Events Programme, including (but not limited to):

  • The Chamber’s highly regarded Business Awards programme
  • The Chamber Annual Dinner and Christmas Lunch
  • The Enterprising Women programme and awards


  • Good, recent working knowledge of event delivery processes
  • Demonstrable experience working in event delivery, ideally with commercial targets
  • An understanding of the East Midlands event delivery landscape, including venues and key sector contractors
