Leading audit, tax and consulting firm RSM has become the latest Strategic Partner to the Chamber.

The Chamber, which covers Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, is one of the UK’s most active business organisations, representing more than 4,100 members across all business sectors.

Strategic partnership is the highest level of corporate status conferred by the Chamber. RSM will become one of 15 Strategic Partners to the Chamber, joining the likes of Rolls-Royce, DHL, East Midlands Airport and HSBC.

Scott Knowles, Chief Executive at the Chamber said: “We are delighted to welcome RSM as a Strategic Partner. We really value our partnerships with globally-recognised regional brands and RSM fits the bill perfectly.

“Not only does RSM service clients across the region from its offices in Leicester and Nottingham, it also has a network stretching right across the UK and in 120 countries worldwide. Tapping into their expertise will be hugely beneficial both for the Chamber and our members.”

Kevin Harris, a partner at RSM in Leicester and Vice-President at East Midlands Chamber said: “We are delighted to become a Strategic Partner to the East Midlands Chamber and we are very excited about working with the organisation and its members over the coming year.

“At a time when businesses across the region face huge uncertainties, our association with the Chamber will enable us to better understand the concerns of the local business community.

“The East Midlands has a vibrant, dynamic business community with a good story to tell. Through this partnership, we intend to play a key role in helping to shape and support the Chamber’s agenda. We also hope to share our expertise with a number of local businesses to help them mitigate against future risks as well as take advantage of new opportunities.”

RSM is a leading audit, tax and consulting firm to the middle market with nearly 3,500 partners and staff operating from 35 locations throughout the UK. The UK firm is a member of RSM International - the sixth largest network of audit, tax and consulting firms globally.
