Nottingham Charity need you to get out on your bikes!

RideWise, who are a part of a Nottingham based green transport charity, are excited to announce that they are an official charity sponsor for Cycle Live 2019.

This year they have set themselves a target to raise £10,000 and are looking for adventurous and incredible people to raise sponsorship for them through Cycle Live. The charity has put together three special charity fundraising packages in return for your amazing sponsorship efforts.

Whether you’re planning on riding solo or perhaps you’re thinking of getting a team together, every penny that you raise for RideWise would help to spread the message – and provide training – for safe, confident and enjoyable cycling to children and families who need our help the most.

RideWise have trained over 20,000 people across Nottingham how to ride a bike. Funds will help the charity to provide free cycle training support for families and children in our region – keeping them safe on the roads and giving them vital life skills for the future. You may have even started your cycling journey with Ridewise. RideWise provide four Community Cycle Centres across the city, Cycling for All, Learn 2 Cycle, Dr Bike, Build a Bike and many more projects. The charity works with a range of people from children and families, people with disabilities, jobseekers, those that are visually impaired and many more. All services are fully funded for Nottingham City residents and they want to be able to offer even more.

Even if you have already signed up or want to purchase entry without a package, RideWise are still looking for riders to help with sponsorship for the charity. If you are part of a Nottingham cycling club, then cycling jerseys can be made available to raffle off within your club.

Cycle Live takes place on Sunday 23rd June 2019. If you want to take part in the challenge visit their website to find out what their packages include here https://www.thebigwheel.org.uk/17358_ready-steady-cycle-live-help-us-reach-our-big-fundraising-target/ or send them an email at customerservices@ridewise.org.uk.
