Tidyco scoops East Midlands export recognition

UK Derby-based Tidyco, a supplier of hydraulic and pneumatic products to the UK rail industry for over 40 years; collects a regional winner Award for Export Business of the Year.

At the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce AGM held within the globally renowned Nottingham Trent Bridge Cricket Ground on Wednesday 7th November 2018, Tidyco was proudly presented with a British Chamber of Commerce Regional Winner certificate in recognition of an on-going commitment towards international trade.

Barry Aldridge – Head of Marketing for Tidyco and Member of the Board of Directors for Rail Forum Midlands, comments; “The AGM in itself was a fantastic day, packed with inspirational speakers as well as a wonderfully eclectic mix of both people as well as local businesses.”

“It was fantastic to meet both familiar as well as new faces whereby, Tidyco was presented the opportunity to showcase its service offerings to an incredibly influential gathering.”

Aldridge concludes; “Manufacturing and export is intrinsic to the East Midlands region whereby to receive such an accolade, feels incredibly meaningful. On a personal note, the East Midlands Chamber supports personal career development whereby earnt CPD points are currently supporting me to achieve chartered and FCIM status through the world’s largest professional marketing body; the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).

I wish to personally thank the team at East Midlands Chamber for all of its valuable support that has been provided towards myself over the past four years.”

Tidyco predominantly exports via the application of a sophisticated online commerce store, further bolstered by a recent addition of an automated chat-bot (a technology of which; was introduced to the company during the 2018 EMC Digital Expo).

The Tidyco Info-Bot is capable of communicating in over 100 differing languages. The business continues to invest in international trade whereby Tidyco has recently employed a dedicated export agent.

The organisation is currently engaged with growing export success within the USA as well as China, whereby the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce will continue to be a value added stakeholder.

Tidyco now goes on to face national recognition at the British Chamber of Commerce Awards Ceremony to be held on the 29th November at the prestigious Tobacco Dock in London.
