Nottingham Entrepreneurs invited to join free Start-Up Business Support Course in September

First Enterprise, in partnership with Nottingham City Council, is launching a free four-week Start-Up Business Support Course designed specifically for Nottingham’s aspiring entrepreneurs and early-stage business owners.

Starting 12th September 2025, the course will run every Friday from 9:00am to 12:00pm at the Dryden Enterprise Centre, Nottingham Trent University. With only 15 spaces available, applications are open now and close on 20th August 2025.

A course built for Nottingham, by Nottingham Experts

For over three decades, First Enterprise has supported thousands of small business owners across Nottingham and the wider region, who often face barriers navigating early-stage finance and strategy. This new course is a continuation of that mission - offering practical, locally tailored support to help entrepreneurs build strong foundations and grow with confidence.

The course is designed to equip participants with the practical skills, tools, and support needed to turn business ideas into sustainable ventures.

Who is it for?

  • Entrepreneurs developing a business idea
  • Founders of startups under 5 years old seeking expert guidance

Please note: Applicants must be available to attend all four sessions of the course to ensure they benefit fully from the programme.
