Heathrow Airport has launched its World of Opportunity SME Grants Programme, in partnership with the Department of International Trade’s, Exporting is GREAT campaign.
As UK's biggest port by value, Heathrow aims to support SMEs across the UK.
Last year it committed to establish a grants programme which offered £2,000 to growing businesses to help them begin exporting or reach new markets.
And today it has delivered on that pledge by opening the applications process for 20 UK SMEs to each win a grant of £2,000 to help fund a trade mission, trade show or market research.
Through partnership with the Exporting is GREAT campaign we can help prepare each successful applicant for international trade; as well as giving them exclusive lounge access as they depart Heathrow from Programme supporter, Plaza Premium lounges.
