Chinese market opportunity

Following a successful trade and investment mission to China last year, Derby and Derbyshire will be returning to the world's second largest economy later this year.

Derby and Derbyshire will be visiting China as part of the Midlands Engine, in this Government supported initiative.

In preparation for the mission, Derby City Council is holding a briefing on Thursday 21 September, to give more detail about the market visit.

John Forkin, Managing Director of Marketing Derby, said: "We are encouraging local businesses to find out about the possibility of doing business in China, in a controlled environment.

"If you are curious about opportunities in China, this is your chance to find out more."
