Following the recent fire at the Cattle Market in Nottingham, fire officers have been out and about in the surrounding areas engaging with firms situated near the fire.
To provide further support to businesses, NFRS is offering fire risk assessment workshops to all businesses in Nottinghamshire.
These workshops are a chance for firms can discuss and understand their fire risk assessment and review it if necessary.
Andy Kelly, Head of Fire Protection at NFRS said: “As a Service we are doing all we can to reassure business concerns regarding fire safety following the fire in the Cattle Market area of Nottingham and are happy to work with the business to achieve suitable and sufficient fire safety.
“Many will have seen the fire in the Cattle Market on their TV screens and now have concerns for their own businesses. That is why we want you to take advantage of our offer of a free workshop to discuss fire arrangements to reduce the risk of a fire in the future.”
