Kickstart for young entrepreneurs

Posted on August 11th, 2015

Young entrepreneurs in the East Midlands are being urged to enter a major business competition.

Baldwins Accountants is searching for talented young people aged between 18 and 25 to enter the third KickStart Young Entrepreneurs Awards.

The winners will receive a £10,000 grant along with £10,000 worth of mentoring and accountancy advice from the expanding accountants who have offices in Eldon Road, Beeston, Nottingham, Ashbourne Road, Derby, and The Green in Ashby de la Zouch.

Two runners-up will each be presented with £5,000 of mentoring and accountancy advice from Baldwins at the 2015 awards dinner in Birmingham in November.

David Baldwin, a partner at Baldwins Accountants, said the KickStart Young Entrepreneurs Awards had attracted a fantastic array of business ideas over the past two years and he expected 2015 to be no different.

“We have been amazed at the variety of enterprising ideas which have been shown by young people since we started KickStart two years ago,” he said.
