Posted on June 6th, 2017

Key matches in the eleventh ICC Women’s World Cup Cricket tournament will be played at the 3aaa County Ground, home of Derbyshire County Cricket Club.

The first of the final-eight round-robin matches, between England and India, takes place on 24 June, with the second semi-final due to be held at the ground on 20 July.

The Chamber is offering members an opportunity to host, or be part of, a rare hospitality event at the Sri Lanka v India match on 5 July.

“This is an opportunity for members to host or take part in an event at an international women’s cricket world cup event in the UK. The last time this competition was held in England and Wales was 1993,” said Lucy Robinson, the Chamber’s Director of Resources.

The match starts at 10.30am and guests will have a prime position to view the action throughout the day. Refreshments and a deluxe buffet lunch served between innings are included in the £60(+VAT)-a-head package. There will also be a pay bar.

Places are limited so early booking via this link is recommended.. For more information about the event, contact the Chamber’s events team on 0333 320 0333 (option 2) or email eet@m-n.ouvnsecdlc.k.
