No sign of slowing down for Tidyco

Derby-based Tidyco, a supplier of hydraulic and pneumatic products to the rail industry for over 40 years, shows no sign of slowing down.

Well known for its supply of braking systems to rolling stock, Tidyco is a gem of a company, displaying important resilience, innovation and flexibility of an SME nestled deep within the Midlands Engine territory.

UK businesses and manufacturers in particular face incredible uncertainty regarding topical economic hostility whereby resilience, innovation and flexibility may well be the formula required to navigate this perfect storm.

Not immune to macro pressures, Tidyco has built a culture of diversity and adaptation. Tidyco’s Head of Marketing, Barry Aldridge FCIM CMktr, explains; “Tidyco is quite unique in that it provides an eclectic and dynamic mix of products and services. As an example, hydraulic and pneumatic solutions are an essential component to just about every industry imaginable.

Whilst well known for its manufacturing prowess, Tidyco also offers a complete HVAC provision consisting of the supply, installation and on-going maintenance of commercial air conditioning, gas boiler and heating systems.

Wider facilities management offerings introduced to market include the creation of an Electrical Division as well as collaborating with British manufacturer, Rolec to supply EV charging point installation services. In January of this year, the company launched a brand new Auto Electrical Division.”

SMEs possess the ability to react quickly and adapt rapidly to any given situation, no matter how volatile.

Suppliers can be a powerful ally whereby Tidyco is an official Samsung installer as well as Rolec partner. Further alliances include Parker Hannifin, Honda Power, Tangye, Tsurumi as well as Daikin and Powrmatic.

Aldridge concludes; “It is important to expand in an intelligent manner. Tidyco benefits from substantial stockholding capability, empowering the business to address global supply and demand. Accreditation and technology is also a critical success factor whereby the business continues to innovate within the digital landscape whilst complying with all industry regulations. Tidyco operates locally, nationally as well as internationally.”
