Chamber welcomes Highlander as new Patron

A company with almost 25 years’ experience of taking the complications out of corporate IT has become the latest Patron of East Midlands Chamber.

Based in the industrial heart of Sheffield, Highlander has the expertise to make light work of the challenges companies face trying to keep abreast of developments in technology.

“Our team of certified industry experts takes your IT challenges off your hands and applies a breadth of genuine knowledge and proven experience to create perfect solutions,” said Ryan Connolly, Customer Services Director at Highlander.

“We’ve been doing this since 1995, so we know what works when it comes to transforming your business’ IT and we’ll bring every skill we have to the table to ensure you become more efficient, your people more productive and, most importantly, your IT less complicated,” he added.

Highlander, of Systems House, Shepcote Office Village, Shepcote Lane, Sheffield, employs 80 people and has grown year-on-year since it was launched.

Ryan added: “Through its Digital Growth Programme, the Chamber is heavily invested in helping firms maximise the potential of their existing technology and to update to the latest available where appropriate.

“Accordingly, we have a strong sense of shared interest with the Chamber and we are excited about the opportunities we can develop from being Patrons.”

Chamber Patrons include organisations that want to take an influential and prominent role in the local business community and share the values that drive the Chamber forward.

Chamber Chief Executive Scott Knowles said: “I am delighted to welcome Highlander to Patronage. Chamber Patrons are a powerful force in influencing policy, driving economic growth and development and equipping smaller businesses with the knowledge and skills that are vital to their future.

“Highlander will bring to the Chamber skills and expertise to complement those of the other Patrons to evolve something which is, together, greater than the sum of its parts.”

The Chamber currently has 37 Patrons, including Toyota, John Pye Auctions, The Money Shop, Wilko and several leading universities.
