EU Exit

EU Exit

The EU Exit Transition Period is the central site for guidance aimed at businesses and individuals who want to know about the affects of leaving the EU.

The UK has left the EU.

There is now a transition period until the end of 2020 while the UK and EU negotiate additional arrangements.

The current rules on trade, travel, and business for the UK and EU will continue to apply during the transition period.

The RESTART Programme

The RESTART programme, run by The Export Department, provides a mixture of coaching and 'hands-on' support, uniquely tailored to participating businesses as they prepare to resume trading.

The aim of RESTART is to ensure that local businesses not only emerge more resilient from this crisis but are also optimally equipped to capitalise on the opportunities presented to them once the ‘green light’ is given and business can resume.

The programme consists of a mix of webinars and one to one support which can be found here
