Nottingham City Council are offering businesses, as well as voluntary and public sector organisations, in the city the chance to try one of 50 electric vans to suit their needs, including provision of a charge point at the business premises. This will give businesses and organisations the chance to experience first hand the financial and environmental benefits of greener vehicles for up to three months, and provide operational confidence to make a permanent switch.
This opportunity has been made possible thanks to support and funding from Highways England, who have given Nottingham City Council £2.69m to deliver the service.
Taking part is easy – just fill out the online Expression of Interest form, and one of the Workplace Travel Officers will be in touch to find out more about your business needs and, if your application is successful, to arrange handover of the van.
Please be aware that, although there is no cost to loan the van, there is a small administrative fee to take part in the scheme:
