Rushcliffe Accelerator is a brand new business support project designed to help businesses across Rushcliffe to start, sustain, grow and innovate. Supplementary support will also be provided to start-up businesses across the Rushcliffe area.
The project is led by East Midlands Chamber and funded through a proportion of the Council’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) allocation. The project, which runs until 31 March 2025, offers support to all businesses across the district, with added support for high-growth and scaling businesses looking to innovate.
Working with an experienced business adviser, eligible businesses can access a range of support including:

In partnership with NBV, a professional start-up business adviser can be provided to help your new business flourish. A Start-Up Business Adviser has a genuine interest in supporting pre-starts and early-stage businesses and the ability to use their own experiences across a range of specialisms. They possess an in-depth knowledge of the business support landscape and the ability to advise individuals and businesses on the range of options as well as having excellent mentoring and coaching skills.

Small businesses and sole traders who attend a low carbon and green skills course hosted either by Rushcliffe Borough Council or East Midlands Chamber will be able to apply for a bursary of £300 to support the installation of low carbon infrastructure or energy efficiency measures.
