  • Have received less than £315,000 of state aid/subsidy (minus the grant amount applied for) over the current and previous two fiscal years
  • Have a UK based bank account in the name of the business

Business Growth and Productivity Grant

The Business Growth and Productivity Grant will support businesses to grow and improve their productivity, improving how they measure and report productivity gains through the provision of capital grants.

The project will provide up to 50% grant funding for investment, maximum grant award £15,000.

Priority will be given to those applicants that can best demonstrate how the grant will have a positive impact on business growth, productivity and the creation of new employment in Nottingham.

The grant operates over two stages – an expression of interest followed by a full application. Support is available through the Nottingham City Growth Hub Team to help applicants develop their understanding and measurement of productivity in the business and to complete and submit applications to the grant.

Business Decarbonisation Grant

The Business Decarbonisation Grant supports businesses to invest in products and services that will directly reduce their energy consumption and energy costs.

Grants of between £1000 and £10,000 will be awarded covering up to 50% of the costs of installing carbon reduction measures, the remaining funds being provided by the applicant business.

Typical projects could be:

  • Installation of LED lighting
  • Installation of energy efficient heating and cooling systems
  • Installation of insulation
  • Installation of solar panels
    Replacement of inefficient boilers

The scheme is being operated by Nottingham City Council and is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
