Erewash Borough Council Empty Shop Signage Grant Scheme

Visit the Website

Erewash Borough Council Empty Shop Signage Grant Scheme has been created to help new businesses purchase signage if they are opening in a formerly empty shop in specific areas of Ilkeston and Long Eaton.

The scheme is being operated by Erewash Borough Council and is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

Up to £2,000 is available for each eligible applicant to have a shop sign designed, made, and installed to give a boost to new businesses and brighten up the high streets.

The council will consider applications on a first come, first served basis.  The scheme will run until March 2025, subject to sufficient funds.
