Derbyshire Dales Rural Innovation Grants

Derbyshire Dales District Council have the following grant funding schemes:

• Business Adaptation Grant (Micro and Small Businesses)
  For projects costing between £2,500 and £10,000 up to 80% support is available, minimum grant £2,000, maximum grant £8,000. Open to a range of sectors including retail, visitor economy and farm diversification (core agricultural activity excluded).
• Business Development Grant (Micro and Small Businesses)
  Up to 50% support for projects costing between £10,001 and £50,000, minimum grant £5,000 and maximum £25,000. Eligible sectors include manufacturing; engineering; knowledge based and digital, hospitality and tourism and farm diversification. Service and construction sector businesses may be eligible to apply if 50% or more of their turnover is derived from business to business transactions. Businesses must have at least two full time equivalent employees and operate from business premises.

• Business Growth Grant (micro, small and medium businesses)   For projects costing £100,000 to £150,000. Grant intervention rate up to 40% min grant £20,000 max grant £40,000. Open to manufacturing businesses (especially advanced manufacturing and food and drink manufacturing) and engineering businesses (especially green and environmental engineering).

Busineses are invited to first complete a registration form to confirm basic eligibility, identify the support required and provide a brief description of the project needing investment. You will then be notified of those elements of support your organisation may qualify for and, if eligible, invited to make a full application for grant support.
