Would-be entrepreneurs in South Derbyshire are being encouraged to embark on their business journey with a free Workshop.
The ‘Thinking of Starting a Business’ workshop is aimed at people who are contemplating running their own business or have recently become self-employed.
South Derbyshire Business Advice Service will focus on the essentials required to be business-ready. Attendees can expect to get a better understanding of topics such as legal structures, tax, insurance, finding premises, marketing, skills to support a new venture and finance, including grants and loans to get started.
Venue: Swadlincote Innovation Centre, Bob Wheeler House, George Holmes Business Park, George Holmes Way, off Hearthcote Road, Swadlincote, DE11 9DF from 5:30pm – 8:00pm on Monday 3 February 2025.
Although the event is free, places are limited so those interested in attending book early to secure your place.
