5G and the technologies that it enables (like augmented and virtual reality, Internet of Things sensors and devices, robotics and autonomous vehicles, machine learning and artificial intelligence, and haptics) are changing every business sector.

Who’ll be presenting at this forum?

This Technology Forum is part of a series of events delivered by the Chamber's Digital Upscaler project. The guest speaker for this event is Nick Mellors, from Innovation Nottinghamshire with expert input from BT Wholesale, Ericsson and NTU’s SWIFt Lab.

Nick Mellors is the founder of Innovation Nottinghamshire, an independent not for profit business set up to inspire business and career opportunities across the county and the East Midlands. He is also a partner in Nottinghamshire’s 5G Connected Forest project and is currently leading the creation and delivery of the new Digital Innovation Centre based at the Worksop Turbine business centre.
