What will I learn?

In this session, we will explore what is key in ‘key performance indicators'. We will examine the adage of ‘if you cannot measure it, you cannot manage it, and if you cannot manage it, you cannot control it’. We’ll also look at ‘what gets measured get done.’ In addition, we will take the opportunity to look at how strategy and aims and objectives fit together.

Meet your speaker

Richard Maksymowicz is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and has over 35 years of financial management experience. He has worked in both in the UK and overseas, including roles in central government. Richard has been a financial management consultant for 12 years.

Is my organisation eligible to participate?

To participate, you must work for an organisation that meets the following funding criteria:

  • Part of the automotive, aerospace or rail sector supply chains (not however part of the financial services sector)
  • Based in Derbyshire or Nottinghamshire
  • Fewer than 250 employees
  • No more than 25 per cent owned by a large company (i.e. a company that is not an SME)
  • Turnover of less than 50 million euros and/or annual balance sheet less than 49 million euros
