Retaining your best people

Host: East Midlands Chamber of Commerce (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire)

Location: Online - Webinar

Date: Tuesday, 4th August 2020 at 11am - 12pm

In 2019, 79% of UK CEO’s surveyed sighted a shortage of available, relevant skills as a serious risk to achieving their growth ambitions.

In fact 46% of the East Midlands Fastest Growth Businesses highlighted a shortage of “talent, skills and innovation at all levels including leadership” as the biggest barrier to growth last year.

That being the case, it has now become super-critical to ensure that those same businesses retain their best people.

For all of us, retaining our best people means that we will be best positioned to come through covid-19 with a team that can prosper, a team hopefully capable of over-achieving against the industry and competitor benchmarks.

Macildowie believes that “Retention” will become a key strategic people metric or KPI as we work through the second half of 2020.

What we will cover

Simple to understand and easy to implement tactics to drive employee engagement.
