Improving Website Performance Using Google Analytics: Maximise your use of analytics to inform and enhance your digital marketing.

Google Analytics provides an almost overwhelming amount of data about how your website is used, but the critical question many people struggle with is “how do I use it to identify improvements I could make?” This webinar walks you through a range of questions that Google Analytics can answer to improve your website and digital marketing.

You’ll learn how to understand more about who the most valuable visitors are, how well your marketing channels are working and how people experienced your website, such as the pages that are working best or worst. From this information, you can take actions to improve your website’s user experience, increase the ROI of your marketing and add things that your visitors are looking for, ultimately generating more business for you.

During this webinar you will see examples of real accounts and websites to demonstrate how actionable insights can be found, from getting a better understanding of the real value of different traffic sources, to finding the pages that are causing visitors to leave your site and analysing why.

This webinar will cover:

  • Assessing landing page performance to find priority pages to improve
  • Segmenting & filtering to check whether aggregate metrics reflect your target audience’s experience, e.g. is your “true” bounce rate what you think it is?
  • Checking user performance by segment to identify problem areas such as mobile devices, location or demographics
  • Reviewing traffic sources to identify quick wins and problem areas
  • Using Secondary Dimensions to segment reports & reveal actionable insights about performance
  • How Multi Channel Funnels can show you the real value of different traffic sources that contribute to conversions

Webinar Outcome:

This webinar will show you the Google Analytics reports you can use to quickly identify aspects of your website that could be improved. You will learn how to manipulate the reports to give clarity on what isn’t working well, along with real world examples of issues uncovered on websites through the use of Analytics.
