Join us for an informal half day workshop and find out more about why you should apply for the 2024/25 Peak District, Derbyshire & Derby Tourism Awards.

The Peak District, Derbyshire & Derby Tourism Awards celebrate excellence and outstanding achievement across the local tourism sector. The awards shine a spotlight on the area’s very best pubs, restaurants, visitor attractions, experiences and accommodation providers. As well as helping businesses to achieve valuable recognition on a local and regional level, the awards also feed up to the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence – offering the opportunity for businesses to achieve prestigious national acclaim.

During the workshop you will learn:

  • Top tips and avoidable pitfalls to help your application stand out from the crowd
  • How to tell your story
  • How to navigate the word counts and still add everything that's important
  • What the judges are looking for
  • What to expect from the application process

Applications for the Tourism Awards go live on 21st June and close 26th August. Businesses attending the workshops will be given priority access to the application forms. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to help your business receive the recognition it deserves!

Workshops are open to start-up and established small to medium sized enterprises located in the following local authority areas taking part in the East Midlands Chamber's Accelerator project:

Amber Valley; Ashfield; Bassetlaw; Broxtowe; Chesterfield; Derby; Derbyshire Dales; Erewash; Gedling; High Peak; Leicester City; Mansfield; Newark & Sherwood; North East Derbyshire; Nottingham; Rushcliffe; South Derbyshire.

(Please note: Businesses based in districts not participating in the Accelerator project i.e. Bolsover; Leicestershire) may attend providing they are members of East Midlands Chamber.
