As part of the Accelerator project, East Midlands Chamber is sponsoring 15 places, valued at £1,500 each, on Kith & Kin’s Hospitality Growth Masterclass. This Masterclass is in three parts and takes place on 18th November, 16th December and 16th January. Attendance on all three dates is advised.

Delivered by Cassie Davison (NED, Mentor & Business Consultant to the hospitality industry) and Wes Henstock (Marketing & Branding Specialist), this masterclass offers an immersive and intensive three-day experience that covers all aspects of your business.

Learning is delivered through workshops, peer support, mastermind sessions, and expert talks. Over the course of three days, spread across three months, you will work through everything from defining your purpose to shaping your business strategy, refining the customer journey, aligning with your mission and values, and enhancing your marketing efforts. You’ll also have opportunities to develop leadership skills and explore your personal brand.

You'll be guided in applying these learnings to ensure the masterclass is tailored to your business needs. Collaboration with peers will help you address current challenges, while insights from industry professionals will provide valuable advice for your success.

Sometimes, it’s about learning something new, and sometimes it’s about being reminded of the things you already know but haven’t applied.

What’s covered?

By the end of the masterclass, you’ll have a clearer direction for your business, having audited your current operations and developed a tailored strategy for the next five years. You’ll create an achievable marketing plan, deepen your understanding of your personal and business values, define your target customer, and design products or services that delight those customers.

What outcomes will be achieved?

Throughout the course, you’ll gain new skills, revisit forgotten best practices, and form new connections that support your business growth. You’ll also learn how to leverage your personal brand for future success. Most importantly, you’ll leave feeling energised, revitalised, and equipped with the motivation and strategies to elevate your business to new heights.

A typical day runs from 9am – 7pm.

Who should attend?

Hospitality entrepreneurs and senior leaders whether they are new to the industry or a seasoned veteran.

Eligibility

Workshops are open to start-up and established small to medium sized enterprises located in the following local authority areas taking part in the East Midlands Chamber Accelerator project:

Amber Valley; Ashfield; Bassetlaw; Broxtowe; Chesterfield; Derby; Derbyshire Dales; Erewash; Gedling; High Peak; Leicester City; Mansfield; Newark & Sherwood; North East Derbyshire; Nottingham; Rushcliffe; South Derbyshire.

Applicants must demonstrate that either prior to the masterclass or as a result of attending, they are undertaking one or more of UKSPF (UK Shared Prosperity Fund) Investment Priorities:

• Adoption of new to the firm technologies or processes
• Engagement in knowledge transfer activities
• Engagement in new markets
• Adoption of new or improved products or services

Please only book if you are confident you can attend. Our workshop places are limited, and by reserving a spot and not attending, you are preventing someone else from participating. If you miss three or more events, you may be declined access to future sessions.

 

The Accelerator project delivers online webinars and full-day workshops. The webinars are designed as one-hour taster sessions and the workshops as full-day training sessions which are designed to provide delegates with an actionable plan and strategy.
