The High Growth Academy is an exciting programme of events, workshops and forums, brought to you by East Midlands Chamber in collaboration with Nottingham Trent University, University of Derby and University of Nottingham. It is aimed at businesses in the EMCCA region.

This workshop will explore proven methodologies to lead complex projects with confidence, balance scope and risk, align with stakeholder priorities, and leverage technology to drive strategic impact.

What’s covered:

During this workshop you will be introduced to concepts such as:

  • Getting to grips with strategic projects
  • Risk management and performance monitoring
  • The adoption of AI, IoT, and blockchain, to gain a competitive edge
  • AI-driven business analytics for real-time decision-making and improving operational efficiency

What outcomes will be achieved?

This contemporary session will help you to assess the benefits and challenges of technical innovations that could help you to scale your organisation effectively. You will be able to review these options from a strategic perspective, balancing risk and opportunity.

Who should attend?

This course is aimed at business owners, CEOs, MDs, senior managers or strategic leaders, from established scale-ups businesses (typically 25+ FTEs) ready to deepen strategic leadership, governance, performance management and sector positioning.

Eligibility:

This workshop is open to eligible high growth businesses located in Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire that can demonstrate 20% annual growth in revenue, employment, or market share over the past three consecutive years. You must be registered on the High Growth Accelerator project.

Receipt of this support is subject to the Subsidy Control Act (2022). To qualify an enterprise cannot have received more than £315,000 Minimal Financial Assistance (MFA) and or De Minimis within any three-year period.
