If you’re already selling to customers overseas, or just beginning to consider doing so, you will of course be aware of the new EU trade rules which are now in place. As a result, it’s probably never been more important to develop the right costing model and strategy to ensure a profitable net result.

The importance of getting your export pricing right cannot be over stated. Pricing for profit can be challenging though, whether you’re in the embryonic stages of selling into foreign markets, or already have significant export sales experience.  There can be a host of factors that influence the final price of a product, from regional market forces, to the importing country’s tariffs and the supply chain involved in the transaction.

Market prices may not always accurately depict the true value of your product. Setting a price that’s both commercially viable in terms of your out costs and positioned to drive demand is crucial. This informative session will walk you through the costs you may incur when selling overseas and demonstrates the process of striking an optimal price/profit balance.

Who’ll be presenting this webinar?

This illuminating session is led by Steve Townsley, who has been working in International Trade over 47 years. Having run a training business for over two decades, he continuously designs, develops, and delivers International Trade programmes, from beginners’ courses through to degree level.  

Over the years, Steve has worked with a variety of organisations, from Blue Chip Businesses to Government Departments, Universities and Chambers of Commerce, providing both general and bespoke support.
