Newark and Sherwood’s Economic Growth team are thrilled to annouce our fifth annual Economic Growth Conference on Thursday 9 October, taking place at Southwell Racecourse.
This year we will be exploring the topic of Resilience and Growth in a Changing World. Through a mix of speakers, workshops and networking facilitated by leading experts, attendees will discover more about how businesses can adapt, innovate, and thrive in the face of ongoing economic and technological change.
The keynote speaker will be Bev Hurley CBE. As the CEO of YTKO Bev has helped enable the growth of over 20,000 businesses and the creation of over 10,000 new jobs. She has also received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise Promotion. During her talk Bev will be sharing her knowledge of the most important factors to help achieve growth, the things that keep business owners up at night, and how to strategize for the future.
The MC for the day will be Laurey Buckland from Mindset and Messaging. Laurey will help guide us through the day using insightful storytelling and exciting networking activities.
Alongside Bev and Laurey there will a packed agenda covering topics from crisis management, sustainability, and the latest digital trends, including recent developments in AI.
The conference will be sponsored by East Midlands Chamber for a second year in a row.
