B-Global is working in collaboration with Nottingham Trent University to deliver the newly developed Diversity & Inclusion Introduction course, part funded by the European Social Fund.
NTU's Diversity and Inclusion Introduction has been developed following discussions with local cultural leaders focusing on the need to support the diversification of the workforce. This course gives you the opportunity to understand diversity, recognise diverse strengths, identify, and challenge discrimination so that difference in the workplace is welcomed. The course also supports you in enhancing your own career opportunities and developing inclusion within your business.

Who is the course aimed at?
This course is aimed at anyone with an intertest in diversity and inclusion and has been designed to enhance your awareness and understanding of diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

The Trainer:
Dr Anne Cockayne is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Human Resource Management. Anne is an experienced and qualified coach and takes a leading role in the design den deliver of the Business Schools coaching provision. She is currently working on an ESF funded project, ‘Women in Leadership’, delivering leadership development courses and one to one coaching to support female leaders in Nottingham’s SME sector.
Anne’s career began in personnel management, working with large companies including Boots, STC telecommunications and ICL, before taking up the Head of HR post at a greenfield Nottingham based software firm where she set up the HR department from scratch, implementing reward systems, career pathing and resourcing strategies. She continues to enjoy working with the SME sector.
