Join in this interactive workshop, delivered by Anthesis to gather opinions on the key areas and actions to help combat climate change at a local level.

They will provide an overview of what needs to happen within the district to achieve net zero and allow you to share your thoughts on what should happen locally and how you can get involved help in the transition to net zero. This session aims to:

  • Explain what will need to happen to meet the district's net zero ambition
  • Start the discussion on the kind of activities that can happen locally to support this
  • Generate discussion that will feed into the Climate Action Plan and ensure the public view is considered

Session Purpose & Outputs

The session aims to:

  • Ensure a common understanding of the scale and speed of change needed to meet the boroughs and district’s net zero ambitions
  • Start the discussion on specific local barriers and enablers to encourage the low carbon transition
  • Generate discussion that will feed into the development of the Climate Action Plan to ensure key existing initiatives, stakeholders, policies and plans, barriers and enablers are considered.

The session will be interactive, with opportunities to share ideas, take part in the discussion and provide feedback during the session.
