This session will cover both the classic way of starting or growing a business and the lean approach. Each approach, done effectively, encourages businesses to self-analyse and have honest conversations with internal and external stakeholders, to drive value in the planning process. However, there are several key differences in the characteristics of each method.
On the one hand, the classic approach involves writing a traditional business plan and may present significant benefits for leaders and managers as they go through the planning process. On the other, the lean approach has now grown into a simple and accessible set of principles and tools that inform strategy, reduce risk and achieve results in a fraction of the time.
This webinar will provoke participants to consider the options and make informed decisions to hone strategic thinking and ultimately develop behaviours needed to successfully move from ‘thinking’ to ‘doing’
This interactive webinar is aimed at SMEs and is a must for business owners, managers or leaders seeking to evaluate alternative approaches to business planning and explore ways to turn their strategic thinking into positive action.
Please note that this webinar is open to trading SMEs based in Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Businesses located outside of this area will be unable to attend and instead directed to alternative support.
