Without an action plan, it is likely that the strategic plan will remain a grand dream. This workshop will guide you through a process to create detailed, useful action planning that will help you turn your strategic plan into a reality.
Why is this workshop useful?
- Understand the distinction between strategic, operational and action planning.
- Generate ideas to help you develop an action plan.
- Decide when you are ready to move a new organisation or project from the strategic planning phase to the operational phase.
- Learn how to review your operational plans when your strategy or priorities have changed.
Who should attend this workshop?
This workshop is for those who have limited experience in planning or action planning. Perhaps you have not been involved in running an organisation, project, or department before.
Many organisations are very good at action planning and once they know what needs to be done, they can plan to do it. However, problems may arise when this planning is not located within a strategic framework. If you are unsure of how to plan your activities or feel unsure that you are “doing it right” then this workshop is for you.
Is my business eligible?
To qualify for this ERDF-funded support, your business needs to meet this criteria:
- be part of the automotive, aerospace or rail sector supply chains
- be based in Derbyshire or Nottinghamshire
- have less that 250 employees
- not to be more than 25% owned by a large company (i.e. a company that is not an SME)
- have a turnover less than 50 million euros and/or annual balance sheet less than 49 million euros.
