A one day 'Thinkshop' that helps all SMEs develop their strategic planning capabilities!

About this Event

Enterprise Strategic Leadership Thinkshop

This one day Thinkshop is located within the present global corporate realities and will provide attendees with an opportunity to understand the nature and significance of strategic leadership within the organisational context, by introducing a variety of internal and external environmental concepts, techniques and applications aimed at analysing the existing strategy of the organisation and considering its present and potential future position within that environment.

Using case studies, models, concepts and theories over-layered on experience from their own roles, attendees will explore how venture strategy can be better planned, developed and implemented in a fast changing environment. They will reflect on their role as entrepreneurial leaders and potential change agents within the business context they find themselves and acquire the requisite reflective skills to help them navigate within the internal and external dynamic to ensure a successful future for their organisation as well as themselves.

Our Thinkshops end with a 90 day personal experiential action project which allows the attendee to take the learning back to his or her role back at work, and commence the development and execution of a business performance improvement project.

This event will be available for up to 25 attendees, so spaces are limited.

The Aims of the Thinkshop:

  1. To develop knowledge and understanding of strategic planning concepts and theory in a variety of organisational and community contexts.
  2. To encourage you to reflect on your leadership style and responsibilities and develop a critically evaluative approach to the application of strategic planning concepts and theory in this variety of organisational contexts.
  3. To work with attendees in reviewing and building a dedicated strategic business plan and performance improvement programme for their ventures.
  4. To help attendees identify capacity gaps and offer potential upscaling opportunities.
