The Chamber recognises the need to continue to provide information and support to businesses of all shapes and sizes as we continue to go through this period of unprecedented economic and political change.

With this in mind, we have now arranged a new series of events, designed to assist business in preparing for Brexit.

Find out more about other Business Readiness for Change events being organised throughout October.

This workshop will form part of our Brexit and Trade Conference which will take place on 29 October. Find out more information about the Brexit and Trade Conference here.

The focus of this workshop at the conference is on Intellectual Property and Managing Contracts and how businesses can make sure they have the latest information on changes that may take place.

Implications for your contracts and IP

With Brexit on the horizon, it is not too late to understand how it will impact your business and mitigate the risks. This workshop will focus on how Brexit will impact your business contracts and intellectual property (IP).

Harpreet Sandhu, Commerce and Technology partner at East Midlands law firm Nelsons, will provide an overview on the following:

  • Key issues in your existing contracts with customers, suppliers and other parties
  • What you can do to protect yourself
  • Important legislation that is likely to be impacted by Brexit
  • Data protection compliance after Brexit
  • Your IP after Brexit.

Who should attend this workshop?

This series of Business Readiness for Change events are intended for business owners, operations directors, business continuity managers and strategic management professionals responsible for the medium and long-term operation of the business, or anyone in your organisation who you feel would benefit from attending.

Please note: This workshop is available to anyone attending or not attending the Brexit and Trade Conference. This workshop should be booked separately from the Brexit and Trade Conference.
