An overview

Achieving the best factory layout for your manufacturing business can impact upon hygiene standards and help your business to achieve accreditations.

This workshop is being delivered by The Food and Drink Forum’s technical team and will provide an overview of how to achieve best practise when setting up your new factory/unit and how you your business can identify and implement changes to existing processes.


To understand how factory layout can help your business to improve hygiene and meet the requirements of standards.

Who Should Attend?

Food businesses who are looking to set up / expand their premises/ production lines and aiming to achieve small business accreditations

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this course, you must meet the small business eligiblity criteria, set out in the booking form.

You must have a food or drink manufacturing business based in Derbyshire or Nottinghamshire

You must employ less than 250 employees

You must have an annual turnover of less than €50million, and an annual balance sheet of less than €43million

You must be predominantly operating Business-to-Business (B2B)
