Nottingham Professional Services (NPS) in collaboration with the British Business Bank is once again holding a breakfast briefing to discuss the £250m Midlands Engine Investment Fund (MEIF).

It’s almost a year to the day since we held our first event to raise awareness of the MEIF, and this breakfast seminar will showcase how those involved with allocating the funds have helped various businesses across the Midlands region.

The event will be held at BioCity in Nottingham and will once again be attended by fund managers from Enterprise Loans East Midlands, Maven Capital Partners, Mercia Fund Managers and Foresight Group.

The Midlands Engine Investment Fund (MEIF), supported by the European Regional Development Fund, provides commercially focused finance through Small Business Loans, Debt Finance, Proof of Concept and Equity Finance funds. It aims to transform the finance landscape for smaller businesses in the Midlands and to realise the region’s potential to achieve economic growth through enterprise.

MEIF is a collaboration between the British Business Bank and ten Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) in the West Midlands and East and South East Midlands.

The fund provides debt and equity finance from £25,000 up to £2m for growing small businesses across the Midlands.

Attending the event is another opportunity to learn more about the MEIF and learn how the fund can help your clients or your business.

It is open to all professional advisers and business owners who are also more than welcome to bring along guests or clients that may benefit.

The briefing will start at 8am and finish at 9.30am. Tickets are priced at £11 and will include a breakfast cob and tea and coffee.
