Nottingham City Council is bringing together 100 Health and Social Care professionals from across Derby and Nottingham to network and build connections.

If you value the importance of training your existing workforce and improving staff retention, then this event is for you.  The event is part of the European Social Funded ‘StayAhead’ project, part of which is aimed at upskilling the Health & Social Care Sector including ALL roles within:

  • GP Practices, Pharmacists, Opticians and Dental Practices
  • Care Homes and domiciliary homecare providers
  • Childcare providers
  • Social Care Services
  • Life Science companies
  • Voluntary Organisations

Benefits of attending

This event is designed to bring together Health and Social Care professionals from across the D2N2 (Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire) area that want to find out about funding and support available to upskill their existing workforce.  There will also be an opportunity to network with other like-minded professionals.

The event will give you the chance to:

  • Learn about the StayAhead Project and financial contribution towards training costs.
  • Information about training that may be available to your staff that is fully funded
  • Networking opportunities so you can meet as many other businesses as possible.
  • Meet some training providers that can support your workforce to improve their skills.

StayAhead is aimed largely at upskilling at Level 2 and Level 3 – it’s the Basic Maths, English and ESOL elements that are fully funded.
