An Overview

The BRC Standard has been revised and Issue 8, published in August, contains a number of key changes which will be auditable from 1st February 2019. Attend this workshop to ensure your business is able to continue to achieve the BRC Standard.

This workshop is being delivered by The Food and Drink Forum’s technical team and will outline the benefits of the BRC Standard and how the changes to requirements within Issue 8 will affect your business and how to identify and implement these changes to obtain/ continue to obtain the BRC Standard.


To make delegates aware of the new BRC Global Standard For Food Safety Issue 8 Update and how the newly introduced changes are relevant to their business.


Individuals involved with implementing the BRC Standard within their business.

Businesses/individuals who are looking at achieving the BRC Standard for their business.

Businesses who have achieved the BRC Standard but would like to understand the changes.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this course, you must meet the small business eligiblity criteria, set out in the booking form.

You must have a food or drink manufacturing business based in Derbyshire or Nottinghamshire

You must employ less than 250 employees

You must have an annual turnover of less than €50million, and an annual balance sheet of less than €43million

You must be predominantly operating Business-to-Business (B2B)
