Energy Efficiency project wins regional award for second consecutive year!

An energy efficiency project run by a partnership between Derby City Council and Derbyshire County Council has been announced as a winner at this year’s East Midlands Energy Efficiency awards.

This event offers an opportunity to hear from local businesses who will discuss their experiences of using electric vehicles as part of their fleets.

A ‘Question Time’ panel, chaired by Rob Pittam, of Robin Hood Media will discuss the business case for making the switch - real-world performance, energy and maintenance costs, charging infrastructure and the business benefits of using electric vehicles etc. Panellist will include DG Taxis, Wego Couriers, Nottingham City Homes and Nottingham City Council.

The event also offers the opportunity to hear about: -

  • Details of the support package available to local businesses including a £25k infrastructure grant, vehicle loans and free 'Fleet Reviews'.
  • Nottingham’s investment in charging infrastructure.
  • Drinks reception, networking opportunity and chance to discuss your business requirements with specialist advisors.


The event will take place at Nottingham Contemporary, Weekday Cross in Nottingham City centre. The venue is easily accessible by public transport and a number of car parks are located close by.


This event is free to any organisation based or operating in the Nottingham area. A small number of places are available to organisations based outside the City.
