Benefits of attending

This event is designed to bring together SMEs from across Rushcliffe and the D2N2 (Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire) area that want to find out about funding and support available to help them recruit and upskill their staff. There will also be an opportunity to network with other like-minded professionals.

The event will include:

  • A presentation about the StayAhead Project – SMEs can receive a financial contribution to training costs, paying up to 40% of any eligible training, up to a maximum of £2,500 per employer.
  • Information about the MoveAhead Project – this aims to design and deliver employer-led pre-employment recruitment activities to allow unemployed and disadvantaged people to secure sustainable employment.
  • Networking opportunities over breakfast and then later in the event we will run structured networking so you can meet as many other businesses as possible.
