This interactive breakfast seminar, hosted by Derbyshire Economic Partnership and the Chamber, will equip businesses with essential and up-to-date information to help mitigate against adverse changes to customs formalities after Brexit, assisting companies to survive and thrive.

About the speaker

Keith Robe, Managing Director, CusDec Customs Solutions, has over 30 years’ experience in his former role with HMRC. Keith has over 10 years’ experience in Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) matters including responsibility for AEO applications and audits, training of HMRC staff, and he is security and safety qualified. Keith’s workshop on this particular subject was heavily oversubscribed at the Chamber’s recent Brexit and Trade Conference.

The session will include:

  • A brief overview of Brexit and the Customs Union
  • Possible changes to customs formalities in a deal and no-deal situation
  • The benefits and process of applying for Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) or Trusted Trader status for your business
  • An introduction to the support offered by Derbyshire Economic Partnership for businesses in Derbyshire to survive and thrive. 


You will leave with knowledge and understanding of what changes and preparations may assist your business to manage changes to customs formalities after Brexit.
