This interactive breakfast seminar, hosted by Derbyshire Economic Partnership and the Chamber, will equip businesses with essential and up-to-date information on the Governments forthcoming White Paper on immigration.

Thalej Vasishta is the founder and Managing Director of Paragon Law. As a senior solicitor he works primarily with UK companies wishing to employ skilled foreign nationals, and overseas companies and individuals seeking to invest in or trade with the UK. Thalej is an internationally recognised speaker on the subject of UK Immigration Law having been invited to speak on this subject in China, India and Nigeria.

The seminar will include:

  • A brief overview of the settled status scheme affecting EU migrants
  • Changes to the immigration legislation affecting workers after Brexit
  • Planning for a deal and no-deal situation
  • An introduction to the support offered by Derbyshire Economic Partnership for businesses in Derbyshire to survive and thrive.
