Explained using simple terminology this Cyber Essentials workshop will help you to guard against the most common cyber threats and demonstrate your commitment to cyber security.

Cyber Essentials is a Government-backed agenda providing support to businesses ensuring they can protect themselves from online cyber threats.

With the help of the Digital Growth Programme Cyber consultant, Sam Reed - you will learn how some simple steps to protect your business and discover how applying five technical controls under Cyber Essentials principles can protect your business from being targeted.

About the consultant

Sam Reed

Sam Reed is Chief Technology Officer of a managed ICT service provider Air IT. He is also a Certified GDPR Practitioner and has been appointed Head of their new specialist cyber security division, Air-Sec. He has been in IT industry for 14 years, primarily East Midlands focused. The resident expert on Cyber Security and Cloud Computing, Sam is passionate about ensuring businesses take advantage of technology, whilst ensuring security is not compromised.
