European Funding - Clean Sky 2

Host: University of Nottingham
Venue: Radisson Blu Hotel, East Midlands Airport, Herald Way, Derby DE74 2TZ
Date: Wednesday 24th October, 2018
Time: 10:00 – 16:00
Cost: free

On Wednesday 24th October the Aerospace Technology Institute (ATI) and Nottingham University will be facilitating a workshop which will outline current European funding opportunities, focussing on the Clean Sky 9th call for proposals which opens on the same day.

The event will serve as a great occasion to learn about the opportunities contained within the latest Clean Sky call and to find out more about European funding as a whole. With the UK government guaranteeing the funding for those organisations that secure funding through EU programmes, from now until the end of 2020, European funding is still very much open to UK organisations who are encouraged to apply.

Expert guidance will be on hand and presentations will cover the latest Clean Sky call, hints and tips on how to apply, and the latest updates from the ATI’s International and European engagement programme.

There will also be the opportunity for different organisations to meet with each other and to present their ideas in the form of two-minute pitches.

State Aid

This event is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund 2014-2020 and is part of the Enabling Innovation Programme. Due to the nature of this funding, priority will be given to Derbyshire and Nottingham SMEs. This event is classed as State Aid to participating businesses, the value of which is £349.98, but is delivered completely free of charge to participants.
