Summer 2017 Nottingham Internship Scheme Open

Applications are now open for organisations who wish to take part in the Summer 2017 Nottingham Internship Scheme. Within the scheme, we can provide a grant of £1,200 to support organisations in hiring an intern from the University of Nottingham for an 8-week period between June and September.

Last summer, almost 50 organisations benefited from a University of Nottingham intern over the summer, and to continue the success of the scheme, this year we are seeking up to 70 internship opportunities. Previous interns have joined organisations in a variety of different roles, including Engineering, Marketing, Scientific Research, Data Analysis, Website Development, Business analysis, and many more.

All of the summer internships will be advertised to students from the 17th March, and given the scale of the scheme and that the internships will all be advertised at the same time, we expect to see a lot of demand and applications from our students. This could be a really great time to take advantage and get an intern on board, either for a project or an ongoing requirement.

Attached is the application form which outlines the timescales and eligibility criteria, and if you would like to participate in the scheme please complete the application form and return it by the 10th March (we may need to close applications early if business interest is high).
