The future of transportation will be one of the hot topics at this year’s Venturefest East Midlands at Derby Arena on 22 March. The event will host an in depth session on the subject with speakers including Rolls Royce, Balfour Beatty and University of Nottingham.

For those working in the transport industries this is a must see session with two of the UK’s best known names; Rolls Royce and Balfour Beatty joining together to discuss the future of the industry. Andrew Clifton, Sustainability Manager at Rolls Royce, will be looking at how Rolls Royce has transformed aerospace through servitisation, whilst Stirling Kimkeran, Head of Technical Services at Balfour Beatty, will be discussing the future challenges in rail transport. The speakers will be joined for the session by one of the transport experts from University of Nottingham.
