Are you a rapidly growing business?

If your business is based in Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham or Nottinghamshire and can demonstrate 20% annual growth in revenue, employment, or market share over the past three consecutive years, the High Growth Accelerator project can offer you tailored academic and business support to innovate, scale, and grow sustainably.

Manufacturing & Engineering, Green Energy and Technology, and Creative and Digital industries will be a particular focus for the project.

How does the High Growth Accelerator help scaling businesses?

Expert Business Advice

Tap into 1-to-1 support from qualified Business Advisers to assess your business’s current position and develop a bespoke growth roadmap with clear objectives and KPIs. 

Access to Finance

Apply for grant funding to expand and grow, including:

• Innovation Vouchers up to £5,000
• Access specialist support from university technical innovation centres
• Talent Grants of up to £2,000 to recruit students or graduates through internships
• Growth grants of up to £8,000, with the first £2,000 of project costs funded at a 100% intervention rate (i.e. fully subsidised) and project costs of between £2,001 and £10,000 funded at an 80% intervention rate. Typical projects include market expansion, product development, compliance, and sustainability.
