i-vengers

i-vengers is an e-safety training provider of virtual and school-based online safety training for pupils, education professionals, carers, parents and other adults who work with children. Specialising in delivering specialised safeguarding training programmes in schools, along with classroom-based activities to help children stay safe online and make positive life choices.

The D2N2 Growth Hub were able to support Traci with a diagnostic business review and strategic planning to help develop a three-year growth plan for the business. She was also enrolled in the D2N2 UpScaler project and attended several Growth Hub workshops.

Insight Care Services Ltd is a CQC-accredited provider of home and social care services to vulnerable residents across Nottingham. Providing services including personal care and help with shopping, as well as cooking.

Cook It Up

Cook It Up is a home-based and mobile catering business creating and delivering healthy and fresh multi-cuisine meals to the local community in Notinghamshire.

The founder, Ashleigh Bossman launched the business in January 2021 after combining two of her passions; travel and food. The Growth Hub supported Ashleigh by sending a business adviser to carry out an initial diagnostic, provide consultancy and offer support to ensure Cook It Up was viable and sustainable.

Bravo Lighting is a trade-only supplier of premium lighting products to the retail sector in the UK and Ireland. Sourcing and importing bespoke designer lighting products from China and distributing them to lighting retailers, home furnishing shops and commercial properties.

After approaching the D2N2 Growth Hub for help in creating a new online B2B portal to streamline its sales process, increase staff efficiency and make it easier for customers to place orders.

FAKRO offers a complete range of innovative solutions dedicated to bringing light and access to lofts. FAKRO delivers the UKs premium collection of products for loft improvements.

They are continuously aiming to expand and drive the business performance year on year. The D2N2 Growth Hub provided support through the provision of a dedicated business adviser who was able to assist with grant funding for recent growth projects. The adviser was also able to assess a variety of options available to the business, as well as informing them of other upcoming grant funding and schemes. In addition, the D2N2 Growth Hub offered a suite of fantastic webinars and courses which allowed FAKRO to develop staff expertise, enabling them to grow within the company and develop all aspects of their skillsets.

Shining Cliff Centre

Shining Cliff Centre C.I.C was established in 2019 when director, Kate Tuck, took over the lease of Shining Cliff Hostel. The hostel has been in existence since the 1940’s, and provides simple, self-catering accommodation in a unique off-road location, situated in the midst of 600 acres of stunning woodland on the edges of the Derwent Valley World Heritage Site.

Kate reached out to the Growth Hub to gain support in self-employment and to learn how to help promote the business in her local area. This support came in the form of Action Planning Workshops and webinars. Kate attended several including: ‘Getting Started with Social Media’, ‘How to Have a Greater Impact Using Social Media’ and also ‘Diving Deeper into WordPress’. These sessions helped boost the marketing and helped support in the development of the company website.

Elizabeth is now also tackling the world of digital marketing with webinars such as ‘Optimising Your WordPress Website’ and ‘How to Have a Greater Impact Using Social Media’.
